Hi, I’m Betsy, of Betsy and John Photography. That’s me with my son, Miles on the beach and that’s my husband John hanging out on the street. Those photos pretty much sum up our personalities. I’m hyper, love to laugh and always on the move. John has the patience of a saint, is the technical genius for the both of us, the quiet observer and his own cool point of view to throw into the mix. 

I have been creative my whole life and have fond memories as a child of playing in the dark room alongside my father and making pinhole cameras for fun as a pre-teen. Art was always a dream of mine to pursue, but I ended up taking a few different paths in life. I always wanted to use my creative writing and artistic flair but never found a chance to fully dive in. Finally, thankfully, I have arrived at a wonderful place in my life where I can finally combine my artistic eye and story telling ability to capture the beauty of people and tell their unique story. 

John and I live in Fort Wayne, Indiana with our son, Miles, and two pugs, Whisper and Stamp.
